Peter Wang Trading Company Attended the 2023 Taiwan Hardware Show

From October 18-20, 2023, Mr. Peter Wang, Ms. Linda Wu, and Mr. Willis Wang from Peter Wang Trading Company attended the annual 2023 Taiwan Hardware Show in Taipei City. 

The annual 2023 Taiwan Hardware Show hosted over 31498 participants with over 425 booths. The primary strategic objective for the staff was to form connections with potential suppliers to build a more resilient supply chain. 

During the event, Mr. Peter Wang discussed sustainable materials, such as low-carbon steel and recycled alloys. By doing so, the company aligns with global trends toward environmentally responsible manufacturing. 

Peter also established partnerships with manufacturers specializing in high-performance alloys like Cr-Mo and stainless steel grades tailored for architectural hardware. To ensure reliability, Mr. Wang made arrangements with suppliers at the booths to conduct on-site assessments of suppliers' facilities. In each of the assessments, suppliers’ production capacity, quality control processes, and environmental compliance were critically important. 

Likewise, during the event, Mr. Willis Wang focused on engaging with discussions pertaining to benchmark testing. Willis implemented rigorous benchmark testing for materials sourced from new suppliers. 

For instance, hand tool components such as plier blades undergo hardness testing (HRC) to confirm compliance with 60±2 HRC blade hardness. Moreover, Willis and potential suppliers explored advanced finishes, including PVD coatings for corrosion resistance and decorative appeal. 

Overall, through the event, the team formed new connections with potential suppliers who were willing to contribute to a better supply chain stability.
