From October 16–19, 2024, representatives from Peter Wang Trading Company actively participated in the prestigious IHT x TiTE Taiwan International Hardware Industry Exhibition.
The event brought together over 300 exhibitors across a 7,000-square-meter venue. The exhibition attracted over 500 distinguished buyers. During this event, Mr. Peter Wang, Mr. Willis Wang, and Ms. Linda Wu identified competitive suppliers to bolster supply chain capabilities.
One of the strategic objectives for Mr. Willis Wang was to enhance the quality and cost-efficiency of hand tools. A critical topic of discussion was the Rockwell Hardness (HRC) optimization of pliers and hammers. This measurement hinges on two factors: the purity of chromium-molybdenum (Cr-Mo) steel and advanced thermal furnace technology. These technical aspects are crucial to achieving superior durability and performance.
Moreover, Willis also underscored the company’s expertise in one-piece forged steel hammers. He advocated for a flexible Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) policy while maintaining competitive pricing. Willis’ strategy empowers clients in managing inventory costs without compromising market competitiveness.
For Mr. Peter Wang, the focus was on lost-wax casting hardware. Recognizing the extreme working conditions inherent in this process, Peter engaged with over five Taiwanese suppliers specializing in lost-wax manufacturing. His long-term vision emphasized saving costs and building robust partnerships.
In terms of iron-cast architectural hardware, Peter sought suppliers with in-house mold-making capabilities. He presented BHMA standards, US Code specifications, and hardware samples to facilitate detailed discussions. These critical factors ensured alignment with stringent industry requirements.
This year’s participation in the IHT x TiTE Exhibition marked a significant milestone for Peter Wang Trading Company. The delegation not only gathered valuable insights into advanced manufacturing technologies but also established relationships with industry-leading suppliers.
Overall, these efforts align with the Peter Wang Trading Company’s commitment to continuous improvement.
