Peter Wang Trading Company Conducted Loading Tests at the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre (MIRDC)

On November 30th, 2024, Peter Wang Trading Company conducted loading tests for over ten architectural handles, cabinet handles, and pliers at the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre (MIRDC). MIRDC’s Associate Director, Albert Su, conducted the tests. The tests were in compliance with MIRDC’s stringent laboratory standards. 

Mr. Peter Wang, Ms. Linda Wu, and Mr. Willis Wang from Peter Wang Trading Company designed customized fixtures specifically for the tests. These custom fixtures served a crucial role in ensuring the precise positioning of the door hardware during testing. One of the common challenges, regarding loading tests, is that inaccurate results could arise from standard or mismatched fixtures. 

During the visit, the team from Peter Wang Trading Company engaged in an extensive discussion with Director Albert Su. Director Su commended Mr. Peter Wang for his dedication to producing durable and reliable hardware. In turn, Mr. Wang expressed his gratitude for Director Su’s valuable insights and the support provided by MIRDC.
